Job description
HGV 2 DRIVERS NEEDED – WORSLEY
We are currently looking for reliable, hardworking road sweeper drivers to join our team.
What we offer:
- £16.25ph (incl hol pay) – all hours
- Full-time hours
- Summer: approximately 8–12 hours per day
- Winter: approximately 10–15 hours per day
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend work available optionally
- Mainly daytime shifts, starting around 07:00
- Your own vehicle once fully trained and up and running
- Full training provided
- Newly qualified drivers welcome
- Experience is desirable but not essential
The role:
You will be driving left-hand-drive vehicles and working across a variety of locations and duties, including:
- Street cleaning
- Airport work
- Highways
- Building sites
Training & induction:
The process starts with an interview. If successful, you will complete a full induction followed by 5 days of training alongside an experienced driver.
Your progress will be assessed day-to-day, allowing us to identify any additional training or support you may need before working independently.
Must have:
- Valid Driving Licence
- CPC Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
Once you are fully trained and up and running, you will have your own vehicle to use daily. You will be responsible for looking after and maintaining the vehicle to a high standard.
