Driver CPC training aims to enhance road safety, improve driver skills, and ensure professional standards amongst commercial drivers.

All our drivers have already obtained their initial Driver CPC qualification, having completed a theory test, practical driving test, and a case study test, and undertaking 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to maintain their qualification.

But did you know we’re a fully qualified driving school for CPC training? We’re committed to helping drivers stay up to date with safe driving practices, so if you’d like us to support your new recruits through their initial training, or ensure your experienced drivers continue to improve their skills with their periodic modules, we’re here to help.

Driving Force Recruitment are currently looking for a Class 1 shunter driver to work for our client based in Preston.
Position details:
<ul>
<li>Hours:&nbsp;Monday to Friday</li>
<li>Shift:&nbsp;0630 &ndash; 1430</li>
<li>Shift Length:&nbsp;8hours minimum per day</li>
<li>Job Type:&nbsp;Class 1 Shunting &ndash; Depot to Depot</li>
<li>Location:&nbsp;Preston</li>
<li>Work Type:&nbsp;Ongoing</li>
</ul>
Job Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Safely distribute products from one site to the other</li>
<li>Very little to no handball involved</li>
<li>Must follow all company and site safety procedures</li>
<li>FLT licence is preferred but not essential</li>
</ul>
Driver Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Class 1 entitlement &ndash; held for minimum 1 year</li>
<li>CPC Qualification Card</li>
<li>Valid UK Driving Licence</li>
<li>Digital Tachograph Card</li>
<li>No more than 6 points on licence (DD/DR/IN/CD/TT endorsements NOT accepted)</li>
<li>FLT licence is a bonus but not essential</li>
<li>Previous shunting experience is required</li>
</ul>
