HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers – West Thurrock

Driving Force Recruitment Ltd, operating as an Employment Business, are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for an established client based in West Thurrock.

We have ongoing opportunities available for reliable drivers, with both day and night shifts available on a 4 on, 4 off rota.

What's on offer?

• £20.15 per hour basic pay

• £24.15 per hour for unsociable hours

• 4 on, 4 off shift pattern

• Day and night shifts available

• Ongoing work

• Training provided following a successful driving assessment

Unsociable hours are paid at an additional £4 per hour and apply to:

• Monday to Friday, between 17:00 and 07:00

• All hours worked at weekends

The rota averages approximately 45 hours during four-day working rotations and 35 hours during three-day working rotations.

Shift Information

Day shifts are available with start times typically between 03:00 and 06:00, although some variation may be required. Night shift opportunities are also available.

Successful candidates will complete a driving assessment before starting. Following a successful assessment and an agreed start date, drivers will complete a site induction and receive on-the-job training with an experienced driver during their first rotation.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence

• Minimum of 6 months' Class 1 driving experience

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card

• A reliable, professional attitude

• Good knowledge of drivers' hours and road safety regulations
